Job summary

County of Delaware seeks a Senior Public Health Nurse to support MCH and immunization programs in Delaware County. The role provides education, care coordination, outreach, and resources to priority populations while promoting access to preventive health services.

Responsibilities include staff supervision, program planning, policy development, vaccine management, QA, and reporting. Must hold a BSN and PA RN license, CPR/First Aid, and have knowledge of VFC and public health nursing.

Qualifications

• BSN required and PA RN license.
• Knowledge of Maternal and Child Health, immunization practices, and VFC program.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise MCH staff, assign tasks, monitor productivity and staffing levels.
• Provide clinical guidance to ensure quality MCH services.
• Oversee vaccine management, 317/ VFC program compliance, and provider education.
• Develop policy, plan budgets, and participate in committees and projects.
• Support after-hours calls and occasional evening/weekend events.
