Job summary

Baptist Health South Florida is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for our Monroe County facility. A current FL Radiologic Technologist license and BLS certification are required, with graduation from an AMA-approved program in radiology or related modalities.

The role requires demonstration of primary eligibility in one or more modalities (radiology, MRI, Nuc Med, sonography, or vascular/cardiac specialties) and the ability to practice across post-primary pathways as needed, with sign-on bonus

Qualifications

• Current and valid FL Certified Radiologic Technologist License and BLS required.
• Graduate of an AMA approved program in at least one of the listed pathways.
• Six months experience in an acute care setting preferred; recent graduates may be considered.
• Licensure in applicable modalities as required by the State of Florida.
• Sign on bonus is not applicable to internal candidates; current employees are not eligible.

Job description

Current and valid FL Certified Radiologic Technologist License and BLS required. Graduate of an AMA approved program in at least one of the following Primary Eligibility Pathways:

• Radiology (ARRT), MRI (ARRT), Nuc Med (ARRT or NMTCB), General Sonography (ARDMS), Cardiac Sonography (CCI or ARDMS), or Vascular Sonography (CCI or ARDMS)

In addition to the Primary Eligibility Pathway, the Monroe County Multi‑Modality Technologist 1 (MCMMT 1) must also practice to the full scope of at least one or more of the following Post Primary Pathways.

• CT (ARRT), MRI (ARRT), Nuc Med (ARRT or NMTCB), Mammography (ARRT), Radiology (ARRT), General Sonography (ARDMS), Vascular Sonography (CCI or ARDMS) or Cardiac Sonography (CCI or ARDMS)

An additional registry will not be required for Post Primary Pathway unless it required by the State of Florida or Baptist Health South Florida to perform those exams.

Six months experience in an acute care setting preferred. Recent graduates may be considered.

Licensure in the applicable modalities as required by the State of Florida.
