Job summary

Innovative Defense Technologies seeks an Associate Model Based Systems Engineer to join our Mount Laurel, NJ team. This on-site role requires an active Secret U.S. Clearance and focuses on MBSE, SysML v2 modeling, and plugin development.

You will develop system models, requirements, use cases, verification cases, and architectures while collaborating with MBSE experts on cutting-edge projects. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 0–3 years of MBSE, Digital Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related roles.

Responsibilities

• Develop system models to support software development using SysML v2 and Agentic AI to generate requirements, use cases, verification and analysis cases, and architectures.
• Work on a project actively using SysML v2 for development.
• Develop plugins using the SysML v2 API spec.
• Model using Cameo Enterprise Architecture 2026x (CATIA Magic).
• Collaborate with MBSE and SysML v2 thought leaders on frontier projects for customers.
