Job summary

HII’s Warfare Systems division seeks a Model Based Systems Engineer with MBSE expertise to design and analyze complex systems for national defense. The job requires a Secret clearance to start, with potential TS/SCI eligibility.

Qualifications

• 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering – Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Software Engineering
• Knowledge or interest in: SysML and UML, MATLAB, Any Programming Language, Linux
• Understanding of Systems Engineering Principles
• Experience with Cameo System Modeler or other comparable tools
• Experience with any Requirements Management tools (JAMA, DOORS, etc..)
• Must be able to work independently and have effective writing and verbal communication skills
• Clearance: Secret clearance to start. Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance with enhanced security checks.
