Job summary

Navigator Development Group Inc. seeks a seasoned Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) to support DoD programs at Fort Rucker, Alabama. You will develop MBSE models, architectures and requirements to enable mission-focused defense solutions.

This full-time role requires a bachelor's in an engineering field, 3+ years MBSE experience, hands-on SysML, and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM field.
• 3+ years of systems engineering or MBSE experience.
• Hands-on MBSE methodologies and SysML experience.
• Experience with MBSE modeling tools (Cameo, MagicDraw, Rhapsody, Enterprise Architect).
• Experience with requirements development, management, and traceability.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written and verbal communication skills.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain MBSE models using SysML and modeling tools.
• Develop system architectures, functional and behavioral models, interfaces, and requirements.
• Translate customer needs into system-level requirements and solutions.
• Support requirements decomposition, allocation, traceability, verification, and validation.
• Support systems engineering activities throughout the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, test, program management, and other engineering disciplines.
• Support technical reviews and design reviews.
• Maintain model consistency, configuration management, and engineering documentation.
• Analyze architectures and interfaces to identify risks and opportunities.
• Present technical information to customers and program leadership.
