Job summary

Navigator Development Group Inc. seeks an experienced Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) to support DoD programs at Fort Rucker, Alabama. The ideal candidate will model systems using SysML, develop architectures, and ensure requirements traceability.

This full-time role requires 3+ years MBSE experience, knowledge of modeling tools (Cameo, MagicDraw, Rhapsody, Enterprise Architect), and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
• 3+ years of MBSE or systems engineering experience.
• Hands-on MBSE with SysML.
• Experience with MBSE modeling tools.
• Experience with requirements development, management, and traceability.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• U.S. citizenship and DoD Secret clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain MBSE models using SysML.
• Develop system architectures, functional and behavioral models, interfaces, and requirements.
• Translate customer needs into system-level requirements and engineering solutions.
• Support requirements decomposition, allocation, traceability, verification, and validation.
• Support systems engineering activities throughout the system lifecycle.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, test, program management, and other engineering disciplines.
• Support technical reviews, including requirements and design reviews.
• Maintain model consistency, configuration management, and engineering documentation.
• Analyze system architectures and interfaces to identify risks and opportunities; present findings.
