Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks an experienced Systems Engineer for the Plymouth, MN site. The role focuses on Armament Systems development using MBSE to design, analyze, and maintain system architectures throughout the lifecycle.

Responsibilities include driving architecture design, defining capabilities, and verifying requirements with customers. Roles may be Level 3 or 4 based on education and experience, with strong emphasis on SysML, MBSE, and PLM tool proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or STEM field required.
• 5+ years MBSE or Systems Architecture experience (or 8+ years with MS).
• Proficient with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• U.S. Citizen; ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Drive system architecture design and evolution across the program lifecycle.
• Define capabilities and performance requirements for the system of interest.
• Establish design constraints and technology maturity aligned with customer specs.
