Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) offers an internship program for undergraduate and graduate students to work on state-of-the-art MBSE modeling for space, airborne, and ground systems. The role is based in North Logan, Utah, with an hourly wage and mentorship from experienced engineers.

The summer 2027 internship includes training workshops, networking events, and opportunities for continued employment or transition to student/full-time roles requiring security clearance.

Formación

• Foundational understanding of systems engineering, modeling, or requirements development.
• Exposure to diagramming or modeling tools through coursework or projects (SysML/UML).
• Ability to organize technical information and learn new software.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Assists with building and refining MBSE models for enterprise satellite ground systems.
• Develops or updates requirements, structure, behavior, and interface diagrams under mentorship.
• Traces requirements to model elements and identifies inconsistencies or gaps.
• Supports model reviews, configuration control, and documentation of modeling conventions.
• Summarizes model changes and recommendations for the systems engineering team.
