Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, preferably a physics-based engineering discipline (e.g., Aerospace, Mechanical, or similar).
• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering of government systems.
• Practitioner of MBSE tools (e.g., Cameo/MagicDraw, Rhapsody, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of system architectures, requirements, and specifications
• Collaborate with stakeholders and domain experts to ensure system design meets customer needs and requirements
• Conduct trade studies evaluating design alternatives to inform architectural decisions that optimizes performance, cost, and requirements
• Conduct analysis of system performance and provide recommendations for improvements
• Utilize modeling tools such as Cameo/MagicDraw, IBM DOORS, and others
• Assist in the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and documentation
• Participate in design reviews and testing activities
