Job summary

Wingbrace is seeking a Model Based Systems Engineer to advance MBSE practices in Lincoln, MA. The role focuses on system architecture modeling, simulation, and analysis to support complex DoD-related programs.

Responsibilities include MBSE artifact development, tool integration, data analytics, and collaboration with government clients. Onsite work 4–5 days per week with a focus on growth and mentoring.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen.
• Must have a minimum Secret US DoD clearance; TS level position.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, or any bachelor’s degree with demonstrable experience in software development.
• Must have a Bachelor’s degree and up to 3 years' experience with product development or systems engineering and integration projects.
• Must have experience in Model Based Systems Engineering developing and documenting systems of systems using SysML and/or UAF.
• Demonstrated proficiency in verbal, written, and presentation skills for technical delivery.

Responsibilities

• Model architectures of complex systems using digital engineering notations (SysML/UAF).
• Program system parametric models and simulate performance with MATLAB and Jupyter Notebooks.
• Maintain MBSE artifacts and tool interfaces across multiple baselines and lifecycle stages.
• Translate customer needs into model-based plans and evolving solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and integrate complex system solutions.
• Support requirements management and architecture change processes with tools like Cameo/Teamcenter.
• Develop data analytics pipelines using Python/R and visualize results.
• Contribute to proposals and coordinate with government clients.
