Job summary

Actalent seeks an MBSE Systems Developer to advance digital engineering for a U.S. Navy program. You will model architectures in Cameo, build automation plugins, and create test scripts to boost modeling efficiency and traceability.

The role blends MBSE, software development, and V&V across the engineering lifecycle. Responsibilities include developing SysML artifacts, defining interfaces, and supporting Teamwork Cloud environments, with Java/Python/Groovy automation.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering, computer science, or systems engineering.
• Hands-on Cameo Systems Modeler experience for architecture modeling.
• Strong SysML modeling capabilities and artifacts.
• Proficiency with Java for plugin/automation development.
• Experience crafting scripts/tools to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain system and subsystem models in Cameo Systems Modeler.
• Create SysML artifacts: Activity Diagrams, BDDs, IBDs, parametric/behavioral models.
• Define interfaces between hardware, software, and subsystems for cohesive behavior.
• Support traceability, V&V, and model governance across the lifecycle.
• Develop Java plugins/extensions to enhance Cameo capabilities.
• Create automated engineering workflows using Python, Groovy, JavaScript, Java.
• Develop test scripts to validate models and data integrity.
• Collaborate in Teamwork Cloud environments for collaboration and reuse.
• Build automation to improve model quality, reporting, and workflow efficiency.
• Support software/hardware integration activities and system-level testing.
• Work with customers, developers, architects, and engineers to evolve MBSE.
• Maintain eligibility for DoD Secret clearance.
