Job summary

Valkyrie Enterprises seeks a System Engineer III with MBSE expertise to support the SSDS Integration Engineering Team in Virginia Beach, VA. The role involves interfacing with External CSEs, coordinating ICWGs, and contributing to configuration management and technical reviews.

You will apply MBSE principles to system models, architecture, and interface definitions while collaborating with multiple engineering and stakeholder teams to resolve complex integration issues and improve system

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 5+ years in Systems Engineering/EA with MBSE.
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite including Project and Excel.
Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, architecture, interfaces, and integration.

Responsibilities

Develops relationships with External Combat System Elements interfacing with SSDS MK 2.
Organizes and supports Interface Control Working Groups (ICWGs).
Supports LCCBs and configuration management activities.
Supports Navy Review Team (NRT) and technical reviews.
Maintains IRS/IDS/IDS Electronic Document Library.
Tracks and reports status of External CSE Interface Documentation.
Applies MBSE to architecture, integration, and engineering activities.
Develops and maintains system models, views, interfaces, and docs.
Collaborates with internal and external teams to resolve integration issues.
Identifies gaps and proposes improvements to enhance system effectiveness.
