Job summary

Davidson Technologies, Inc. is seeking an onsite MBSE Software Systems Engineer in Roy, Utah. The role focuses on translating customer requirements into robust software and system architectures while leveraging MBSE and SysML.

The candidate will guide cross-functional teams, prepare system and design documentation, and ensure successful integration and verification of complex software systems for defense programs.

Qualifications

• - Strong DoD systems engineering lifecycle experience including requirements analysis, architecture design, interface definition, and verification/validation.
• - MBSE methodologies and SysML to develop system models.
• - Experience defining software system architecture and interfaces (ICDs).
• - Proficient with Cameo, MagicDraw, IBM DOORS; familiar with SAFe and Agile.
• - Translate high-level requirements into software requirements, components, and user stories.
• - Active DoD Security Clearance at Secret level or above.

Responsibilities

• - Analyze requirements, concepts of operations, and architectures to develop system requirements.
• - Lead design and development activities and provide technical leadership.
• - Guide stakeholders in requirements formulation and conduct feasibility studies.
• - Develop architecture and system design documentation.
• - Integrate new plans into ongoing operations and prepare SE management and test plans.
• - Collaborate with Architects and Product Owners to resolve technical issues and risks.
• - Ensure integrity and quality of all SE deliverables within responsibility.
