Job summary

Arcfield’s Strategic Technology Consulting (STC) unit seeks an experienced Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) to support national security and space systems programs in Chantilly, VA. You will develop digital models, conduct trade studies, and produce acquisition-focused engineering products for decision making.

The role requires advanced MBSE practice, strong systems engineering background, and active TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on systems engineering, MBSE, or digital engineering experience in government/defense/space programs.
Experience applying MBSE across the systems lifecycle and familiarity with DoD processes.
Active TS/SCI security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

Apply MBSE methodologies across lifecycle of complex space systems.
Develop digital models and support acquisition lifecycle activities.
Assist with trade-space analyses, system architectures, and technical documentation.
Provide technical Acquisition support and portfolio-level recommendations.
Collaborate with government leadership, engineers, and cross-functional teams.
