Job summary

LaunchTech seeks an experienced configuration management leader to support the MDA IRES contract at Schriever Space Force Base. You will oversee a team responsible for accuracy and integrity of technical baselines, using MBSE tools and CMDB systems.

The role requires active DoW Secret Security Clearance, strong leadership, and a focus on process improvements. You will coordinate with engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure compliant baselines and documentation.

Qualifications

• At least 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience with MBSE tools is preferred.
• Experience with configuration management practices.

Responsibilities

• Audit artifacts to maintain accurate as-built models and drawings for ITSD areas.
• Create and maintain as-built configuration drawings using Visio and MBSE tools.
• Build and sustain an MBSE program migrating from Visio diagrams to MBSE environment.
• Move Requirements and Architecture baselines under Configuration Management control.
• Lead a team to review Change Requests and CM tasks in BMC Helix ticketing system.
• Coordinate with engineers to update drawings and models after configuration changes.
• Update and maintain the CMDB in BMC Helix.
• Lead initiatives to improve processes and procedures.
• Manage a team and prioritize assignments to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and peers.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Balance big-picture and detail-oriented thinking as needed.
