Job summary

Cook Children’s is seeking a MBL Respirator Mask Fit Tech to provide respiratory protection fitting and related training for a 24-hour workforce in the Cook Children’s Health Care System. The role involves fitting in the Occupational Health office and at various Cook Children’s locations as needed.

The ideal candidate has a Medical Assistant, EMT-P, or LVN background with at least 2 years of experience, strong clinical terminology knowledge, and the ability to travel to multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Must have Medical Assistant, EMT-P, LVN or similar certification.
• Proficient in medical terminology and patient communication.
• Basic computer skills for charting and records.
• Willingness to travel between Cook Children's locations.
• Knowledge of OSHA 1910.134 is preferred but not required.
