Texas A&M University’s Mays Business School is seeking a Director to lead the Full-Time MBA Program, shaping strategy, student experience, and outcomes from admission to placement. The role requires navigating a complex academic environment, building partnerships with students, faculty, employers, and external stakeholders, and driving innovation in graduate business education at scale in College Station.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ten years of progressively responsible experience in management, program leadership, higher education, business, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree; MBA or other graduate business degree preferred.
  • Leadership experience in higher education, graduate management education, business, or another complex, market-facing organization.
  • Experience leading a program, business unit, product, service, or other enterprise with responsibility for strategy and measurable outcomes.
  • Supervisory and team leadership experience.
  • Experience working across organizational boundaries and engaging senior leaders and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead change, foster innovation, and exercise sound judgment in complex and uncertain environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate strategy into clear priorities, executable plans, and measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Full-Time MBA Program.
  • Translate strategy into actionable priorities and plans.
  • Build relationships with students, employers, alumni, and partners.
  • Oversee recruitment, admissions strategy, and program marketing.
  • Lead program staff and ensure continuous improvement and student success.
  • Collaborate with faculty and other units to align curriculum and resources.
  • Manage budget and resources to support program goals.
  • Represent the program with internal and external stakeholders.
