MBA Graduation Date should be Spring / Summer 2024 or Winter / Spring 2025.

Participants in the MBA Finance Leadership Development Program (LDP) join Ryder as Financial Consultants and are given significant responsibility to impact both business and financial decisions.

What can you expect from the MBA Finance LDP? You’ll be matched to an area within our Finance Team based on your experience, career interests, and management priorities. Our goal is to place you into a team where you’ll feel engaged and excited about your projects and interact with seasoned professionals who can help expand your management and leadership skills.

We are seeking MBA graduates with an interest in:

  1. Strategy and competitive intelligence
  2. Financial planning and analysis
  3. Operations finance
  4. Treasury / capital markets
  5. Other financial areas such as: pricing, acquisitions, and asset management

Requirements:

  1. Master's degree in finance or a related concentration
  2. Three (3) years or more of work experience in a finance-related role
  3. Personal initiative and the ability to present and effectively interact with multiple levels of management and customers
  4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  5. Ability to multi-task/support several projects concurrently
  6. Advanced level MS Excel skills
  7. Working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint
  8. MBA Graduation Date should be Spring / Summer 2024 or Winter / Spring 2025

Responsibilities (may vary depending on assignment):

  1. Support Ryder's business development and operations in costing and pricing activities, including gathering cost data, analyzing pricing strategies, risk-return evaluation, contract review, and negotiation
  2. Provide financial support and advice to operations management to maximize financial performance and establish controls
  3. Prepare internal financial reports for executive management
  4. Perform monthly analysis of financial statements to identify key trends and variances
  5. Contribute to strategic planning, capital budgeting, and evaluation of capital investments
  6. Support the Treasury department with analysis of capital markets to manage debt and investment portfolios
  7. Analyze current and potential markets, competitors, and disruptive trends, presenting findings to Executive Leadership

Salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, and market rates. The salary range for this position is $100K - $110K annually.
