Job summary

The University of North Georgia is looking for up to two Graduate Assistants for the Mike Cottrell College of Business on the Dahlonega campus. This role involves teaching assistance, research activities, and support for various college events. Graduate assistants must also maintain enrollment in a Master's program and can arrange specific working hours with their supervisor.

The position includes a tuition waiver and requires strong organizational and communication skills. A Bachelor's Degree is required before hiring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required by time of hire.
• Enrollment in the Master of Accountancy or MBA program with a minimum of 6 credit hours by time of hire.
• Maintain a GPA of 3.0 in the qualifying degree program.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.

Responsibilities

• Teach and assist faculty with instruction, grading assignments, and proctoring exams.
• Assist with event planning and management activities.
• Engage in research activities including literature reviews and data collection.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Familiarity with statistical programs

Excellent time-management skills

Strong writing and interpersonal skills
