Job summary

The Vanguard Group MBA Leadership Development Program offers three 5-month rotations across Vanguard to accelerate leadership development. You will tackle high-impact strategic assignments, receive coaching from senior management, and build investment skills through onboarding and rotations.

The program targets MBA graduates with strong analytical and relationship skills and applies a hybrid work model in Malvern, PA.

The MBA Development Program offers participants the opportunity to contribute to strategic Vanguard initiatives as part of three, 5-month rotations across Vanguard with the goal of accelerating the participant's development into leadership. At the program level You will engage in high-impact strategic assignments, across different areas of the business, to help meet the financial needs of our clients. You will impact the way people invest by seizing new opportunities and identifying critical insights for Vanguard. You will receive thorough coaching and mentorship from Vanguard’s senior management. You will complete a comprehensive onboarding program anchored by Vanguard business and baseline investment acumen. You will integrate into a robust alumni network who share your belief of doing what’s right for our clients. You will uncover your journey to success with individualized pathways ranging from a focused specialization to pivotal initiatives serving the broader enterprise. During the program you will Tackle business challenges with rigor, demonstrating the ability to successfully acclimate into each area, understand the objectives of the assignment in the broader context of Vanguard, exceed or achieve rotation objectives with accountability for all projects and assignments Build sound business and investment skills through onboarding and rotations. Apply understanding of Vanguard's investment methodology, products and services, and the competitive environment to deliver and complete high-impact projects. Conduct efficient and detailed research and analysis of strategic, driven, product/service and business model opportunities and issues confronting Vanguard. Interpret and analyze both internal and external data of high complexity using conceptual thinking and discernment to derive key insights for strategic projects. Refine presentation and leadership impact skills through formal and informal training through peer, mentor, and leader feedback. Engage in continual personal and professional development with a proven dedication to training and research and building tenacious personal learning habits. Manage projects from inception through implementation ensuring project requirements are met.

What it takes

• You have an undergraduate and MBA degree.
• A minimum of 5 years work experience post undergrad reflecting a progression of increased responsibilities and impact, including exposure to strategy, consulting, or business analytics.
• Comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to explore challenges and pivot as needed. This requires intentional reflection, partnership, and collaboration on your part.
• Deep curiosity and interest in investment management and demonstrated agility in learning.

Special Factors

The start date for this program will be late summer 2027. Seeking December 2026 or May 2027 MBA graduates. This is a hybrid position based in Malvern, PA, with remote work on Mondays and Fridays and in-office collaboration Tuesday through Thursday.
