Job summary

KKR Capstone offers a 10-week MBA internship across New York and Menlo Park, designed for current first-year MBA students graduating in Spring 2028. You will join a team-focused environment that tackles real operating challenges and delivers value creation across portfolio companies.

As a hands-on operator, you’ll work on growth, cost optimization, and strategic initiatives, with opportunities to transition into full-time roles at exceptional performance.

Qualifications

• Current 1st year MBA student with anticipated graduation date of Spring 2028.

• Ideal candidates have genuine enthusiasm for real assets investing and a track record of strong academic performance.
• Comfort using AI and data tools to accelerate operational analysis and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Partner with portfolio company management on value creation levers including growth, pricing, and cross-portfolio opportunities.
• Drive efficiency through zero-based budgeting, organizational design and G&A optimization, cost technology and procurement.
• Support strategic initiatives such as carve-outs, merger integration and synergy capture, and 100-day planning.
• Assist in late-stage diligence and partner with deal teams to size and scope value creation initiatives.
