Job summary

The Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia invites applications for a full-time Academic General Faculty (non-tenure track) professor to teach in its MBA degree programs. This faculty position will be affiliated with the Accounting Area and start in Fall 2027.

AGF engage in teaching graduate courses, providing service, and may conduct research with a research budget and summer salary opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must hold a master's degree (or equivalent) from an accredited institution; a doctorate is preferred.
• Experience with student-centered, case-based teaching and experiential learning is ideal.
• Ability to develop and contribute to MBA curriculum and courses for various delivery formats.

Responsibilities

• Teach core MBA courses in managerial and financial accounting and electives.
• Contribute to cases and experiential learning activities for MBA programs.
• Provide service to the Darden School and participate in curriculum development.
• Possess or develop a research budget and opportunities for summer salary.
