Job summary

The Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia invites applications for a full-time Academic General Faculty (non-tenure track) professor to teach in its MBA degree programs. This faculty position will be affiliated with the Accounting Area and start in Fall 2027.

Applicant review will begin October 1, 2026, and the position will remain open until filled. AGF faculty teach in face-to-face and blended formats, pursuing student-centered, case-based learning and may engage in research

Qualifications

• Master's degree (or equivalent) from an accredited institution; doctorate preferred.
• Experience in MBA teaching with student-centered, case-based approaches.

Responsibilities

• Teach core courses in managerial and financial accounting and MBA electives.
• Engage in experiential learning, case development, and curriculum design.
• Contribute to service, research activity, and summer salary opportunities.
