Staffmark Group in Jersey Village, TX is hiring a Mazak CNC Milling Machine Operator to set up, program, and operate Mazak mills. You will read blueprints, adjust tooling and offsets, and inspect parts with precision measuring tools to ensure quality production in a safe environment.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Technical training in CNC machining, manufacturing technology, or precision machining is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
• Strong understanding of machining principles, shop math, and quality standards.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of CNC milling experience required.
• Hands-on experience programming, setting up, and operating Mazak CNC milling machines.
• Experience editing CNC programs, adjusting offsets, and optimizing machining processes.
• Proficiency using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of CNC machine setup, tooling selection, fixturing, and machine adjustments.
• Ability to troubleshoot machining, tooling, and quality issues independently.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality precision parts.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing safety procedures and quality control standards.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand and move throughout the manufacturing facility for extended periods.
• Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and handling of tools, materials, and machined parts.
• Ability to safely operate CNC machinery and use precision measuring equipment.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required in a production machining environment.

Job Duties

• Set up, program, edit, and operate Mazak CNC milling machines to produce precision-machined components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and work instructions to determine machining requirements.
• Select, install, and adjust tooling, fixtures, cutting tools, and machine offsets to ensure quality production.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment and make programming or machining adjustments as needed.
• Perform routine machine maintenance, maintain production schedules, and follow all company safety and quality standards.
