Job summary

IMI is seeking a skilled Mazak CNC Operator to join our Irwin, PA team on second shift. You will set up, operate, and maintain Mazak CNC lathes and mills using Mazatrol controls, producing high-quality parts per engineering specs while upholding safety and efficiency standards.

The role is on-site in Irwin, PA with a second shift from 3:00 pm to 1:30 am. Prior CNC experience and blueprint reading are essential, along with ability to stand long hours and lift heavy parts.

Qualifications

• Experience operating Mazak CNC machines with Mazatrol controls.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
• Stand for up to 10 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Mazak CNC lathes and mills using Mazatrol.
• Perform in-process inspections, including first article inspections.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and tolerances.
• Load/unload parts with overhead cranes, deburr, document production.
• Monitor tooling and tool life; minimize downtime and report maintenance.
