Mayday Manufacturing is a global leader in Aerospace machining and metal finishing located in Denton, Texas. We are a subsidiary of ESCO Technologies, a publicly traded company. Our company is committed to supporting your growth and the future of the Aerospace industry. We are seeking a 3rd Shift Quality Control Supervisor to join our team.

Shift: Sunday-Thursday, 11:00 pm - 7:00 am

The supervisor will oversee inspection and qualification of all manufactured and processed products, requiring advanced knowledge of inspection methods, customer and internal quality standards, and familiarity with AS9100 standards. A thorough understanding of Mayday’s internal processes and departmental responsibilities is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead inspection, calibration, and source inspection activities
  • Track metrics and manage projects
  • Train QC Inspectors on pre-processing inspection and final product acceptance
  • Enforce rules, policies, procedures, and performance metrics
  • Serve as technical lead when needed
  • Manage daily operations, including scheduling and work assignments
  • Handle staffing, onboarding, and delegation
  • Ensure smooth shift transitions and effective communication with management
  • Act as liaison between departments
  • Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and company policies, and ensure housekeeping standards
  • Support operators with necessary tools and resources
  • Identify and recommend continuous improvement opportunities
  • Adhere to all Quality and Safety standards, policies, and procedures
