We support your growth and the future of the Aerospace industry. We are looking to add a 3rd Shift Quality Control Supervisor to support our team.

Shift: Sunday-Thursday, 11:00pm - 7:00am.

You will supervise, instruct, coach, and support those responsible for inspecting and qualifying all manufactured and processed products. This requires an advanced understanding of inspection methods, customer and internal quality requirements, and a basic working knowledge of AS9100. Also, a complete understanding of Mayday’s internal practices and department responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform leadership functions regarding inspection, calibration, and source inspection.
  • Track metrics and projects.
  • Train QC Inspectors on pre-processing inspection of manufactured parts and final product acceptance.
  • Hold employees accountable to rules, policies, procedures, and metrics.
  • Serve as the technical lead as needed.
  • Manage daily activities including work schedules, workflow, and assignments.
  • Handle employee staffing, onboarding, development, promotions, compensation, training, feedback, and evaluations.
  • Delegate work effectively.
  • Ensure smooth shift handoffs.
  • Communicate scheduling needs and business information to employees and management.
  • Act as liaison between departments.
  • Oversee compliance with safety, quality, and company standards, and housekeeping.
  • Ensure operators have necessary tools and support.
  • Identify and recommend continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Adhere to quality and safety standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage departmental data.
