Interfor in Port Angeles, WA invites you to join our Environmental, Health & Safety internship program. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals, gain hands-on experience, and help advance safer, more sustainable operations during a May start for a 4–8 month term.

Qualifications

Must be enrolled in a post-secondary program related to Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or Public Health.
Willingness to analyze information and document findings clearly.
Interest in improving safety and environmental performance in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

Support EHS initiatives across the site.
Assist with inspections, audits, hazard assessments, and compliance activities.
Review safety and environmental data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Contribute to developing procedures, training materials, and EHS documentation.
Collaborate with employees and leaders on safety initiatives in both office and mill environments.
