Job summary

The role requires a strong Maximo background, hands-on architecture skills, and a proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives in an enterprise asset management environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field is required.
• Maximo certifications (e.g., IBM Certified Deployment Professional) preferred.
• 12+ years as a Maximo Technical Architect with Maximo EAM or Maximo Application Suite.
• Strong knowledge of Maximo architecture, including app server configs and DB structures.
• Proficient in Java/J2EE, SQL, XML, and web technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of Maximo solutions, including customization, configuration, and integration components.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate into technical specs and design documents.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Maximo certifications (e.g., IBM Certified Deployment Professional - Maximo Asset Management)
• Extensive experience (12+ years) as a Maximo Technical Architect, working with IBM Maximo EAM and or IBM Maximo Application Suite of products
• Strong knowledge of Maximo architecture, including application server configurations, database structures, and system integrations
• Proficiency in Java/J2EE, SQL, XML, and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Experience with Maximo customization using Maximo Integration Framework (MIF), Automation Scripting, and Java-based customization
• Knowledge of Maximo Asset Management modules, including Work Order, Asset, Inventory, and Contracts
• Familiarity with enterprise integration tools and methodologies (e.g., ESB, ETL, RESTful APIs, SOAP)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients
• Ability to work in an Agile environment

Preferred Professional And Technical Expertise

• Knowledge and understanding of Cloud Computing or AWS, Azure or IBM Cloud certification
• Experience in leading and managing technical teams is a plus
• Understanding or experience with Maximo Application Suite architecture and its offerings (Monitor, Health, Predict)
• Familiarity or experience with IBM Mobile implementation or exposure to IBM Mobile architecture
• Knowledge of Docker, Images, Containers, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
• Knowledge of DevOps and related tools (Ansible and Jenkins)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
