Job summary

BlueWater Federal Solutions, Inc. seeks a Maximo Engineer/FEM Specialist to support the USAF at Maxwell AFB. You will manage highly customized FEM Maximo environments, optimizing workflows, integrations, and maintenance scheduling for depot operations and calibration processes.

The role requires 5+ years in Maximo engineering/support, a current Secret clearance, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to modernize and maintain critical maintenance systems for mission readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of Maximo engineering/support experience.
• Active Secret clearance required.
• Deep understanding of Maximo and AF maintenance workflow.
• Experience with Maximo Suite, workflow automation, asset management, maintenance scheduling, calibration workflows, SQL, APIs, and reporting.
• IBM Maximo certifications and Security+ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support sustainment, modernization, workflow optimization, integration management, and operational support for the FEM IBM Maximo environment.
• Analyze, configure, develop, and sustain maintenance workflows for depot operations, calibration, work orders, inventory, costing, and scheduling.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, SMEs, DevSecOps, System Architects, and Enterprise Integration to optimize workflows and preserve continuity during modernization.
• Support modernization governance, API integration, reporting optimization, and regression validation to ensure changes do not destabilize maintenance execution.

Overview

Bluewater Federal is looking for a Maximo Engineer/FEM Specialist to support the USAF at Maxwell AFB.

The Base Maintenance (BMx) Family of Systems program provides critical lifecycle support for enterprise U.S. Air Force logistics and maintenance systems that enable global mission readiness and sustainment operations.

Responsibilities

• Support sustainment, modernization, workflow optimization, integration management, and operational support for the highly customized FEM IBM Maximo environment.
• Responsible for analyzing, configuring, developing, and sustaining maintenance workflows supporting depot maintenance operations, calibration management, work-order execution, inventory tracking, costing functions, and maintenance scheduling activities.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Functional SMEs, DevSecOps personnel, System Architects, and Enterprise Integration resources to evaluate workflow modernization opportunities, implement enhancements, optimize performance, and preserve operational continuity during modernization and release activities.
• Support modernization governance, API integration, reporting optimization, technical debt reduction, and regression validation activities to ensure modernization changes do not destabilize operational maintenance execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of Maximo engineering/support with experience supporting customized Maximo environments.
• Must have an active Secret clearance
• Deep understanding of both Maximo platform engineering and Air Force maintenance workflow execution.
• Experience with IBM Maximo Application Suite, Workflow automation, Asset management, Maintenance scheduling, Calibration workflows, SQL, Integration APIs and Reporting
• IBM Maximo certifications and Security+ are preferred
