Job summary

Agile Global Solutions, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled IBM Maximo Consultant/Contractor to support and optimize two Maximo environments in a hybrid setting. The role requires deep expertise in IBM Maximo and MAS, with collaboration across IT Operations, GIS, Data Management, and Maximo support vendors.

The position is located in Elk Grove, CA, with relocation to the Sacramento area and occasional travel. Candidates must be U.S. Citizens or green card holders; sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an IBM Maximo Consultant or Contractor.
• U.S. Citizens or valid Green Card holders required; sponsorship not available.
• Deep technical expertise in IBM Maximo and MAS; able to configure and customize modules.

Responsibilities

• Configure and customize IBM Maximo modules, including workflows, screens, security, and database configuration.
• Develop and maintain Maximo applications, automation scripts, integrations, and custom solutions.
• Work with Application Designer, Automation Scripts, TRM Rules Manager, Java, SQL, and Oracle.
• Support Maximo patching and upgrade initiatives.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Manage Maximo data integrity, migrations, and integrations.
• Develop reports and ad hoc queries using Maximo reporting tools and SQL.
• Maintain technical documentation, configuration documentation, user guides, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical guidance.
• Lead and mentor IT staff on Maximo/MAS support and troubleshooting.
• Follow IBM Maximo best practices and standards.

Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled IBM Maximo Consultant/Contractor to support and optimize our two Maximo environments. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in IBM Maximo and Maximo Application Suite (MAS) and will collaborate closely with IT Operations, IT Customer Service, GIS, Data Management, and Maximo support vendors.

• Hybrid: On-site 1 day per week, with additional onsite days as business needs require
• Work locations:
• Elk Grove, CA
• Candidate must be willing to relocate to the Sacramento area
• Occasional travel between the two locations may be required

• Strong knowledge of Maximo modules such as:
• Work Management
• Asset Management
• Inventory Management
• Procurement
• Strong knowledge of Transportation and Utilities industry solutions and the Spatial add-on.
• Hands‑on experience with:
• Database Configuration
• Workflow
• Escalations
• Security
• Automation Scripts
• Strong SQL and database experience with Oracle and/or SQL Server.
• Experience with Maximo Integration Framework (MIF), including:
• Object Structures
• Publish Channels
• REST APIs
• Integration Endpoints
• Experience with Maximo upgrades and patching.
• Experience with Maximo Application Suite (MAS).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience supporting public utilities.
• Experience with Maximo Mobile and Maximo Application Framework (MAF).
• Experience with IBM FileNet.
