Job summary

Mattress Warehouse in Bloomfield, CT is seeking a dependable Mattress Unloader to join our bedding distribution center. This is a highly physical role requiring unloading, lifting, and moving heavy mattresses and other bedding products throughout the workday.

The position runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a weekly perfect-attendance bonus, and full-time employment in a team-oriented warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and move heavy mattresses repeatedly for an entire shift.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendance.
• Willing to perform physically demanding work.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, and pull throughout the workday.
• Previous warehouse or unloading experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Unload mattresses and bedding products from delivery trailers.
• Lift, carry, stack, and move heavy mattresses throughout the day.
• Place products in designated warehouse locations.
• Maintain an organized and safe work area.
• Follow all warehouse procedures and safety requirements.
• Work cooperatively with team members to meet daily productivity goals.
