Job summary

Mattress Warehouse is seeking a dependable Mattress Unloader / Forklift Driver to join our warehouse team in a full-time role. The position involves unloading mattresses and related bedding products from trailers and moving them throughout the warehouse, with roughly 75% manual handling and 25% forklift use.

The ideal candidate should be able to lift heavy items repeatedly, work in a fast-paced environment, and follow all safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, unloading, material-handling, or distribution experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred; willing to become forklift certified.
• Comfort with primarily manual unloading and heavy lifting.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality; able to follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manually unload mattresses, foundations, adjustable bases, and other bedding products from trailers.
• Move approximately 75% of incoming product by hand and 25% with forklift.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and according to procedures.
• Keep docks, aisles, staging areas, and workspaces clean and free of hazards.
• Work as a team to unload trailers within productivity expectations.
