Avocado Green Brands is seeking a Mattress Builder I to join the Production team in Fullerton. You will assemble mattresses from components, operate machinery and use hand tools to meet design specs and quality standards.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, teamwork, and adherence to Cal OSHA safety practices. On-site employment with competitive benefits and potential for growth is offered.

Qualifications

• Open to learning a new role and being taught how to assemble a mattress.
• Proven experience as assembler preferred.
• Must be able to lift heavy—team lift.
• Power tool knowledge with clamps and other tools.
• Keen eye for detail and good eye/hand coordination.
• Follow safety culture and Cal OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Place and flip mattress springs and mattress on building table.
• Attach components to springs and bind with fastener or glue gun; scan tag when finished.
• Lift, carry and place bed on tape edge conveyor.
• Monitor quality and rework subparts as needed.
• Read and follow established procedures.

Avocado is currently looking for a Mattress Builder I to be part of the Production team. You will be reporting to the Production Manager.The Mattress Builder I is responsible for assembling and constructing mattresses from various components, ensuring quality and adherence to design specifications. The role involves operating machinery, using hand tools, and working with different materials to produce high-quality mattresses that meet customer and industry standards.Note on Location: Here at Avocado Green Brands, we treasure teamwork and working together in person. You will be working on-site at one of our Fullerton locations.Note on Pay Transparency: As of January 1, 2023, California-based roles must provide a pay range on job postings.
