Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Advocate for clients in court and in conferences as needed

You'll negotiate settlements and help people part ways with dignity. You'll be Of Counsel, meaning you're one of us, but also free. You'll have a team. Support staff. Fellow lawyers. Actual systems. You'll do real lawyering without all the nonsense.

Compensation

$125 - $200 hourly

Qualifications

• Able to appear in court in Plymouth, Bristol, and Hampden counties on behalf of clients
• A successful candidate will have handled divorce law, focusing on matrimonial issues, for 1-2 years
• Experience in the division of assets, both real estate and financial, is essential
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, especially in highly stressful and emotional situations
• 4-year degree with a legal background and J.D. degree are necessary for this position
• Proven record of success in advocating for plaintiffs and defendants
• Previous criminal justice or other legal background preferred
