Job summary

GameFace Tutoring seeks a reliable tutor to commit to consistent weekly hours (3:00–9:00, Mon–Thu) with flexibility for days. Most sessions are in-person at our Wayne, PA office, with some virtual tutoring available. Tutors may work 1–2 hours up to roughly 30 hours per week, depending on student needs.

Responsibilities

• Tutor students during the posted hours each week (3:00–9:00), Monday to Thursday.
• Manage multiple sessions; current tutors range up to about 30 hours weekly.
• Some tutoring is virtual; primary focus is in-person at the Wayne office.
• Maintain punctuality and dependability; attendance matters for payment.

Role Description

We are looking for someone who can commit to the same hours each week, within the 3:00 - 9:00 range, Monday - Thursday. You can choose your own days and hours. Currently our tutors range from as little as 1 or 2 hours a week up to about 30 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Comfortable with math through calculus.
• We are ideally looking for someone who either has tutoring or teaching experience, or is in school to become a teacher. That said, we will consider anyone with relevant qualifications.
• Easy to talk to. We believe that personality is key for having kids connect with the tutor.
• Reliable. Again, you can choose your hours but you must be able to make those times. We pay our tutors if their students do not show up, so we need tutors that we can trust to be on time for the sessions as well.

Some of our tutoring is done virtually, but we are looking for someone who lives close enough to our Wayne office that they can tutor in person. You are welcome to tutor from home on any days with only online students, but this position is primarily for in-person tutoring.
