Job summary

Team Tutor, LLC is seeking a Special Education certified teacher to tutor math for students in grades K–12. This part-time role offers flexible hours and can be performed online or in person, with a minimum commitment of 4–6 tutoring hours per week.

Ideal candidates will hold current FBI, PA State Police, and Child Abuse clearances, a Mandated Reporter Certificate, and a recent TB test. Act 24/168 forms and other state requirements must be completed.

Qualifications

• Special Education State Teacher Certification required.
• Minimum 4–6 tutoring hours per week across assignments.
• Current FBI, PA State Police, and Child Abuse clearances within the past year.
• Mandated Reporter Certificate must be up to date.
• Recent TB test results.
• Completion of Act 24, Act 168, and other mandated forms.

Responsibilities

• Tutor math to K–12 students, in person or online.
• Maintain flexible scheduling with 4–6 hours weekly.
• Collaborate with Team Tutor educators to support student progress.

What We Are Looking For

• Special Education Certified Teacher to tutor math
• Tutor that is compassionate, responsible, and student-centered
• Available for year-round tutoring, on-line
• Available Monday to Friday, 2 hours per week, 9:00 AM - 12:00 noon
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and committed to student success
• Experienced (1-3+ years of teaching or tutoring preferred)
• Skilled in working with students of varying academic levels and needs
• Excellent communicator and dependable team player
