About The Opportunity

• Outlier is looking for talented Math Reviewer Experts to help train generative artificial intelligence models.
• This freelance opportunity is remote and offers flexible hours, allowing you to work whenever it suits you.

You may contribute your expertise by…

• Assessing the factuality and relevance of domain-specific text produced by AI models.
• Assessing the factuality and relevance of domain-specific text produced by other Math experts.
• Crafting and answering questions related to Math.
• Evaluating and ranking domain-specific responses generated by AI models.

Examples Of Desirable Expertise

• A bachelor's or higher degree in Math, Physics, or related subject requiring rigorous mathematics.
• Experience working as a math teacher, tutor, teaching assistant, research assistant, or in mathematical curriculum development.
• Ability to write clearly about Math concepts in fluent English.
• Ability to review Math problems and solutions, and identify correctness or factuality issues.

Payment

• Pay rates for core project work by Math experts range from $8 to $32 USD per hour.
• Rates vary based on expertise, skills assessment, location, project need, and other factors. Higher rates may be offered to PhDs. For initial onboarding or overtime phases, lower rates may apply. Some projects may offer incentives. Please review the payment terms for each project.
