About the opportunity:

• Outlier is looking for talented Math Reviewer Experts to help train generative artificial intelligence models.
• This freelance opportunity is remote, with flexible hours, so you can work whenever is best for you.
• Your role includes assessing the factuality and relevance of domain-specific text produced by AI models.
• You will also evaluate responses generated by other Math experts.
• Crafting and answering questions related to Math.
• Evaluating and ranking domain-specific responses generated by AI models.

Examples of desirable expertise:

• A bachelor's degree or higher in Math, Physics, or related subjects requiring rigorous mathematics.
• Experience as a math teacher, tutor, teaching assistant, research assistant, or in mathematical curriculum development.
• Ability to write clearly about Math concepts in fluent English.
• Skill in reviewing Math problems and solutions to identify correctness and factuality issues.

Payment:

• Pay rates for core project work by Math experts range from $8 to $32 USD per hour.
• Rates vary based on expertise, skills assessment, location, project need, and other factors. Higher rates may be offered to PhDs. Lower rates may apply during onboarding or overtime phases. Some projects offer incentives. Please review payment terms for each project.
