Mathematics Teacher - Benfica Residential Academy at Saint Leo University

The Benfica Residential Academy, located in Tampa, Florida, is the world’s premier soccer academy that combines SL Benfica’s rich heritage and training methodologies from Portugal. Situated at Saint Leo University, this coeducational residential academy (grades 9-12) aims to develop youth soccer players both athletically and academically to prepare them for top competitive levels worldwide. Bishop McLaughlin Catholic High School is seeking an experienced, full-time Mathematics teacher for the 2025-2026 school year.

Qualifications:

• Commitment to Catholic education’s ministry, philosophy, and goals
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or related field
• Valid Florida Department of Education Professional Certificate or Statement of Eligibility in Mathematics (grades 6-12)
• Proficiency with instructional technology
• Preferred: Master’s degree and high school Mathematics teaching experience, including Advanced Placement
• Familiarity with standards-based assessment, classroom technology integration (Chromebooks), and ability to teach other high school subjects is advantageous
