Job summary

Colorado State University’s Department of Mathematics invites applicants for postdoctoral research positions to advance independent research under mentorship within the department. The teaching load is up to 3 courses per year, subject to funding, with collaboration across faculty.

Selected candidates will pursue innovative mathematical research, present results in seminars, participate in group meetings, and contribute to departmental teaching for Mathematics majors.

Qualifications

• 2 years of teaching experience at the university level or equivalent.
• Has a record of teaching a range of mathematics services courses and graduate courses.
• Has a record of being a course coordinator, and/or experiences teaching large number of students (75 or higher).

Responsibilities

• Pursue independent research objectives and meet with your research group weekly.
• Present results and promote collaboration with academic colleagues in other departments and/or at other universities.
• Teach a mixture of university level service courses and other courses for our Mathematics Majors; teach 3 courses per year.
