Qualifications

• Master’s degree in mathematics or a master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in mathematics is required.
• SACSCOC credentialing guidelines must be met.

Responsibilities

• Develops course objectives and learning outcomes; ensures content is current.
• Keeps accurate classroom records.
• Supports department assessment initiatives.
• Uses the course management system and updates records.
• Delivers timely grading including midterms and final grades.
• Provides tutoring and professional academic support to promote student success.
• Maintains a professional learning environment and communicates schedule changes.
• Promotes tutoring services and engages with faculty and Student Services to increase participation.
• Manages student check-in/out and prepares end-of-semester reports.
• Other duties as required or assigned.
