Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mathematics from an accredited institution with teaching experience.
• Teaching experience and substantial graduate coursework (≥18 graduate credits) in Mathematics.
• Preferred: terminal degree and advising experience; strong oral and written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Special Considerations: Muscogee language ability preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Teach a minimum of 4 courses per semester (12 credit hours).
• Remain current in subject matter, computer and multimedia technology.
• Provide student advisement with posted office hours.
• Participate in accreditation processes.
• Assess student learning as required.
• Design courses, syllabi, and lesson plans for each course.
• Meet academic deadlines and participate in evaluations.
• Collaborate with other instructors and adjuncts.
• Support the Student Success Center to promote retention.
• Teaching through distance education may be required.
• Serve on college committees and engage in professional development.
