Job summary
Beecher Community School District seeks an Administration/School Improvement leader to guide math curriculum efforts and district improvement. You will work with staff to align materials and professional development with state standards, analyze data to identify gaps, and support communication with stakeholders.
Candidates should hold a master's in educational leadership or related field, Michigan math certification, and ideally an administrative credential, with strong writing and collaboration
Qualifications
- Master's degree in educational leadership, elementary or secondary education, or related content area.
- Valid Michigan Mathematics teaching certificate.
- Administrative certification preferred.
- Experience supervising teachers and strong curriculum background.
- Familiarity with CCSS and CCRS and educational research.
Responsibilities
- Become knowledgeable in essential Michigan Core Curriculum and Beecher standards.
- Develop familiarity with best practices to ensure student outcomes.
- Assist in curriculum development for mathematics content areas assessed on state tests.
- Support district and school improvement efforts and staff development.
- Analyze student data and prepare written reports on skill mastery.
- Participate in curriculum/materials committees ensuring alignment with state standards.
- Disseminate informational newsletters on successful practices and instructional techniques.
