Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required (preferably Math).
• Virginia teaching license with endorsement in Elementary or Secondary Mathematics.
• 3–5 years of teaching experience; knowledge of instructional coaching and differentiated instruction.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate co-planning, co-teaching, modeling, reflecting and classroom visits.
• Strengthen teachers' mathematics knowledge and instructional strategies.
• Lead job-embedded professional development aligned with ACPS goals.
• Collaborate with staff to monitor progress toward coaching targets.
• Document work and maintain progress logs with teacher input.
• Meet weekly with coaching cadre to build systems supporting teaching and learning.
