Job summary

The Stephen Longfellow Academy is seeking an inspirational Curriculum Leader of Mathematics to drive a high-performing Maths Department. The successful candidate will provide strong leadership to ensure first-class teaching and learning for students and staff, and will develop innovative approaches to Maths that engage all learners.

Open to applicants with a good honours degree, QTS, and a proven teaching record.

Qualifications

• A good honours degree in a directly related subject.
• Qualified Teacher Status.
• Knowledge of current curriculum developments and their implications.
• A successful teaching record with very good practice demonstrated.
• A passion for education and making a difference.
• The ability to put vision into practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership to the Mathematics Department to deliver high-quality teaching and learning.
