Job summary

AMS Impact Group is seeking a K-8 Mathematics Curriculum Coordinator in Tempe, AZ to lead curriculum development, assessments, and professional learning across the AMS network. You will collaborate with campus and network leaders to ensure instructional alignment and data-driven decision-making in mathematics.

Reporting to the Director of Learning & Teaching, this role emphasizes coaching, PLC leadership, and sustained improvements in math outcomes while supporting diverse learners and traveling

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Master's degree or mathematics/content-related certification preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of successful teaching experience.
• Experience designing curricular resources, analyzing data, and coaching teachers.
• Strong background in instructional coherence and standards alignment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and revise mathematics curriculum supports, including unit plans, lessons, assessments, and pacing guides.
• Design and facilitate mathematics-focused training sessions for teachers and leaders using the AMS coaching model.
• Lead PLCs and workshops to build capacity and vertical alignment in mathematics instruction.
• Collaborate with school and network teams to promote high-quality mathematics instruction.
• Monitor the impact of mathematics initiatives and support continuous improvement.
