Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics required.
• For higher-level courses: Master’s degree in Mathematics OR Master’s degree in Mathematics Education with at least 18 hours of graduate work in Pure/Applied Mathematics OR Master’s degree in a closely related field with at least 18 hours of graduate work in Mathematics or related coursework.

Responsibilities

• Teach GRCC course offerings in Mathematics.
• Foster an equity-minded learning environment; promote inclusion and belonging for all students.
• Create a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
• Assess student performance, maintain accurate records, and report grades by deadline.
• Respond to communications promptly and provide access to course information.
• Follow syllabus templates, use department-approved materials, and meet scheduled class times.
• Provide reasonable accommodations in line with ADA and FERPA policies.
