Grand Rapids Community College seeks an adjunct faculty member to teach Mathematics, including Math Essentials for Statistics and Intermediate Algebra, primarily at Lakeshore Campus in Holland, Michigan. The position supports student success in a community college setting.
The candidate will foster inclusive teaching, assess student learning, adhere to the department syllabus, and collaborate with colleagues to maintain high-quality courses during the 2026/2027 academic year.
The College is interested in seeking candidates to teach Math Essentials for Statistics and Intermediate Algebra during the 2026/2027 school year primarily at our Lakeshore Campus in Holland, Michigan. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a commitment to student success, ensuring a high-quality learning experience for all students.
Reports to: Associate Dean - School of STEM

Teach GRCC course offering(s) in Mathematics.
Foster an equity-minded learning environment which advances inclusion, reduces equity gaps, and promotes diversity and belonging for all students.
Create a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Effectively assess student performance, keep accurate student academic records, and report grades by contractual deadline.
Make all reasonable efforts to respond to communication in a timely manner and provide reasonable means for student access to course information.
Comply with standards and requirements expressed in the College’s Policies and the Faculty Association Contract, including, but not limited to:
Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
