The candidate will foster inclusive teaching, assess student learning, adhere to the department syllabus, and collaborate with colleagues to maintain high-quality courses during the 2026/2027 academic year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics required.
• For higher-level courses, Master’s in Mathematics or related with 18+ hours in Math required.
• Preferred: teaching experience at a community college.
• Experience with students from diverse backgrounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics course offerings.
• Foster an equity-minded learning environment that advances inclusion and belonging for all students.
• Create a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
• Assess student performance, keep accurate records, and report grades by deadlines.
• Respond to communications in a timely manner and provide access to course information.
• Follow syllabus templates and use department-approved materials; meet scheduled class times; accommodate students with disabilities as needed; comply with FERPA.
